Fashion Show Volunteers Needed!!

Central Elementary School PTA needs you to make this year’s fashion show ‘Fashion and Fairytales’ an enchanting success! The event will be held on Oct 25th  at Tavistock Country Club. The fashion show is our biggest fundraiser of the year and relies on the help of Central parents and teachers.  Please use the following link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0448ACA82FA7F58-central15 to volunteer for one of several positions throughout the day and evening. If you have any questions or concerns regarding volunteer opportunities please contact Danelle Riso at danelle_st@hotmail.com  Thank you for your support!

Tickets for the Fashion Show sold out in a record 10 days! Thank you all for your support of our school’s biggest fundraiser! We look forward to seeing you on the 25th! For those unable to purchase tickets, we hope you can join us remotely through BidPal!

Library Volunteers Needed!!
Library Volunteers needed to help with organizing/shelving books and clerical/miscellaneous tasks.  A volunteer is preferred in the afternoon for one hour but you are welcome anytime you have available (please use the comment section to specify the time of arrival).  We ask that volunteers commit to at least one hour a month.  This is a great way to get involved and allows our wonderful Librarians more time to focus on teaching.

Lunch Recess Volunteer Sign up & Training
Central Elementary PTA is looking for volunteers to help in the lunchroom and outside on the playground for grades 1-2 and 3-5. Help is needed in the lunchroom assisting children and also outside to organize games, keep an eye out and be someone for a child to talk to if needed.

To sign up, it is necessary that volunteers have attended a training session already (in school years 2016-2017 or 2017-2018) or sign up to volunteer after the next training session date and go to that training session. You will not be permitted to volunteer until you have attended a training session.  The next training will be held on Friday, October 26 at 9 am.

It is suggested that interested volunteers sign up for multiple time slots so that they are volunteering on a regular basis and become a familiar face to the students and someone with whom the students feel safe and comfortable. We strongly encourage signing up on a weekly or bi-weekly basis!  Sign Up Here!!

If you have any questions, please contact Erin Simonson at (610)348-4828 or erin_cohen@hotmail.com.
