PTA News & Events - November & December 2017

Fashion Show UPDATE

Congratulations to all those involved in attending, supporting, organizing and volunteering their time for the Central School Fashion Show held on Thursday, October 19th.  It is Central School’s most important fundraiser and one of the PTA’s most celebrated events.

FASHION ROCKS was the most successful event to date raising over $54,000 (after expenses), an increase of 26% over last year!

Everyone who supported the Fashion Show is greatly appreciated! The PTA will be allocating this money raised to enrich our students academically, support the needs of students and teachers with supplies and equipment for the school, and help fund events throughout the year for the Central School Community. If you are interested in learning more about how the Central School PTA raised and spent money for 2016 please go to http://www.centralpta.org/p/haddonfield-central-school-pta-board.html

Central School PTA Meeting

Wednesday, November 15th, 7:00 p.m. at the Central School Library.

November 30, December 1st – Secret Shop

Secret Shop gives our students the opportunity to surprise family members with gifts that they have proudly chosen by themselves.  Kids visit as a class and have the chance to choose from a wide array of inexpensive options.  Parent volunteers play a vital role helping students select the perfect items and ensuring that everyone walks away happy with their choices. Please look for volunteer opportunities to be announced soon!

December 2 – Winter Breakfast
Kindergarten and 1st Grade

The Winter Breakfast is a celebration of the holidays, where Kindergarten and First Grade families come together to share the season.  Students and families enjoy breakfast and then perform festive songs.  PTA relies on parent volunteers to keep things moving smoothly before, during, and after the two seatings. Look for volunteer opportunities to be announced soon and purchase tickets by clicking on the "Winter Breakfast" tab above!
