Cheetah Chasers!!
Central School sure has some awesome runners! Cheetah Chasers (optional running group held every Tuesday at recess) is going strong! Grades 1-5 have run a total of 2, 271 miles this school year!! Our current top five runners are:

We have many dedicated and enthusiastic runners! The top ten runners will receive certificates at the community meeting on June 14th. Whether they've run 1 mile or 35, we're so proud of their efforts!!
A big thank you to Donna Moffett for spearheading this wonderful new program, as well as all of the volunteers who helped out each week. Cheetah Chasers would not have been possible without your time and energy! Programs like this don’t exist without the effort of our amazing volunteers!

Come out and help us cheer on our Cheetah Chasers at recess! Our new recess running program has been a big hit so far with the students and we could use some more help! Volunteers are needed every Tuesday from 11:40-12:40 in the back field to help scan runners using an app, guide children on the course, and hand out charms. The program will run until December 18th, then resume again in the spring.
